Composers through history - wedding quartets

A wedding quartet is really a string quartet whose repertoire is suitable for use at weddings. Many composers have written music specifically for the String Quartet. Some only wrote for the quartet once they had become experienced, considering the string quartet to the be the perfect musical ensemble. A few examples are given below, as illustrations:-  Wilhelm Olof Peterson-Berger (1867-1942; age 75); Jean-Baptiste Lemire (1867-1945; age 77); Charles Koechlin (1867-1950; age 83); Steven Finch (1959-still alive 2003; age ca. 44); Eric Funk (1949-still alive 2003; age ca. 54); Christopher Rouse (1949-still alive 2003; age ca. 54); Johann Wenzel Kalliwoda (1801-1866; age ca. 65); Gustav Albert Lortzing (1801-1851; age 49); Bernhard Molique (1802-1869; age ca. 67); Charles Auguste de Bériot (1802-1870; age 68); Hector Berlioz (1803-1869; age 65); Mehmet Aktug (1959-still alive 2003; age ca. 44);
