Towns, cities and regions, such as   the Docklands  have an influence on the style of music, whether it is the 'English Countryside' feel of Vaughan Williams, the strength of Elgar's Victorian Malvern, or the skirl of Northumbrian Pipe tune.

About  the Docklands   

The history of London's Docklands goes back to Roman times, and is central to the history of London as a major trading centre. The Royal Albert Dock was one of the later additions to Docklands, and was opened in 1880. The Royal Docks closed as a commercial dock in 1981.
